COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc (Hons) Accounting and Management degree offers a structured progression of knowledge and skills across three years. In Year 1, students build a strong foundation in key areas including operations management, accounting, economics, financial markets, and management theory, while also engaging in professional development tailored to the accounting and finance sector. Year 2 advances learning through core modules such as financial reporting, international business, management accounting and information systems, and management in global organisations. Students also undertake professional development and experiential learning, alongside optional modules that allow them to tailor their interests in areas such as business law, corporate finance, human resource management, or entrepreneurship. Year 3 focuses on strategic and advanced topics, covering sustainability reporting, contemporary issues in accounting and finance, and strategic management accounting. A range of optional modules offers opportunities to specialise in fields such as auditing, taxation, ESG and climate finance, leadership, global development, or financial statement analysis. The program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to critically evaluate financial information, contribute to business strategy, and prepare for a wide range of professional roles in accounting, management, and consultancy.
