COURSE CURRICULUM

In the first year, you will study a broad range of subjects to give you a solid foundation in engineering. These include: Engineering Mathematics, The Engineering Design Cycle, Introduction to Engineering Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer, Mechanics of Materials and Structures, Electrical and Electronics Fundamentals, Computer Programming, and Instrumentation and Control. In the second year, you will study subjects such as: Engineering Mathematics II, Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Instrumentation, Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Decommissioning and Sustainability, Engineering Analysis, Fluid Mechanics and CFD, Heat Transfer, Materials and Design, Power Systems and Electrical Machines, and Business Development Project. In the third year, you will study: Nuclear Reactor Physics, Nuclear Materials, Decommissioning and Sustainability, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Engineering Management, and an Individual MEng Project.
