COURSE CURRICULUM

The Mobile Networks and Media Streaming MSc at Kingston University combines core and optional modules to provide students with the technical expertise and practical experience needed for careers in wireless communications and media streaming. Core modules include Emerging Communication and Network Technologies, which introduces the latest advancements in mobile and wireless systems, including 5G and IoT applications. Cloud Computing and Networking develops skills in designing and managing cloud-based infrastructures and services that support scalable and reliable media streaming. Advanced Network Systems and Applications focuses on the design, optimisation, and implementation of complex network systems, covering protocols, performance analysis, and real-world applications. Optional modules provide opportunities for further specialisation, including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, which explores intelligent techniques applicable to network optimisation, adaptive streaming, and data analysis, and Network and Information Security, which covers security principles, risk management, and protecting networked systems from threats.
