COURSE CURRICULUM

The Advanced Therapeutics and Public Health MSc is structured around core modules that provide students with a comprehensive understanding of modern healthcare, therapeutics, and public health. The course begins with clinical pharmacology and advanced therapeutics, giving students insight into drug actions, treatment strategies, and the application of therapeutic interventions in clinical settings. Students then explore immunomodulation and innovative targeted therapy, examining how immune system mechanisms can be leveraged to develop novel treatments for complex diseases. The pharmacogenomics and precision medicine module focuses on individualised healthcare, teaching students how genetic variation influences drug response and how personalized treatment plans can improve patient outcomes. A central component of the program is the research project, which allows students to design, execute, and analyse an independent scientific investigation, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical skills and critical thinking. Additionally, the technology-enabled care, public health, and policy module introduces students to the intersection of healthcare innovation, digital technologies, and public health initiatives, highlighting the role of policy in shaping effective healthcare delivery.
