COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum includes core modules such as 3D Animation Fundamentals, where students learn modeling, texturing, and rigging; Advanced Animation Techniques, covering motion graphics and dynamics; Scripting and Technical Animation, focusing on programming for animation tools; and a Major Project module for developing a substantial piece of work. Optional modules may include Visual Effects Integration or Game Animation. The course structure involves workshops, seminars, and critiques, with assessments based on practical assignments, presentations, and a final dissertation or project. For the two-year option with professional placement, students undertake a year-long industry placement between the taught components. The curriculum is designed to build from foundational skills to advanced, industry-relevant projects, ensuring graduates are equipped with both technical proficiency and creative problem-solving abilities.
