COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Management and Marketing BSc (Hons) develops students’ understanding of business operations and marketing strategy over three progressive years. In the first year, students gain a foundation in global business environments, marketing and sales, organisational behaviour, and the role of data and technology in enhancing business processes. This introduces them to how organisations operate, collaborate and leverage digital solutions to achieve efficiency and excellence. The second year builds on these skills, focusing on problem-solving and decision-making across business functions. Students explore accounting and financial management, customer insights, market research, sustainable and responsible management, and business design thinking, providing practical tools to create value and address real-world challenges. In the final year, the emphasis shifts to strategic thinking, leadership and innovation in both local and global business contexts. Students develop advanced marketing skills, including social media strategy and ethical marketing practices, while critically evaluating business and social value creation. Modules on leadership and transformation support personal development and equip students to manage complex, changing environments. By graduation, students are well-prepared to enter the business and marketing sectors with strong analytical, strategic, creative and leadership capabilities, enabling them to contribute effectively to organisations, drive innovation and pursue careers in marketing management, digital marketing, business consultancy and related fields.
