COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is structured over three years. Year 1 focuses on foundational techniques, including contemporary dance, ballet, improvisation, and choreography basics, alongside modules on dance history and analysis. Year 2 advances technical proficiency with intermediate dance practices, site-specific performance, screendance, and collaborative projects. Students also study somatic practices and dance science. Year 3 emphasizes professional development with advanced choreography, independent research projects, a final performance piece, and modules on dance in education or community settings. Optional modules may include urban dance styles or international dance perspectives. Assessments include practical performances, portfolios, essays, and presentations.
