COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum consists of core and optional modules. Core modules include Advanced Creative Writing Workshops, where students critique and develop their work, and Research Methods in Creative Writing, focusing on literary theory and practice. Optional modules may cover specific genres such as Novel Writing, Poetry, Screenwriting, or Life Writing. The program culminates in a dissertation or major creative project, allowing students to produce a substantial piece of original writing, such as a novel excerpt, poetry collection, or screenplay, accompanied by a critical commentary.
