COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is structured over three years. In year one, you will study foundational modules such as Chemical Structure and Reactivity, Biochemistry, Human Physiology, and Introduction to Formulation. Year two builds on this with modules including Organic Synthesis, Pharmacology, Analytical Science, and Drug Design. In year three, you undertake advanced topics like Advanced Medicinal Chemistry, Toxicology, Biopharmaceuticals, and a research project. The curriculum includes laboratory practicals, workshops, and tutorials throughout. Optional modules allow specialisation in areas like clinical pharmacology or pharmaceutical biotechnology. Assessment is through exams, lab reports, presentations, and the final year project. The program includes opportunities for placement years or international study to enhance practical experience.
