COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is taught through a mixture of lectures, tutorials, and seminars. In year one, you will study introductory modules in politics and optional modules from other disciplines. Year two builds on this foundation with core modules in political theory, comparative politics, and international relations. You can choose electives such as British politics or environmental politics. In year three, you will undertake a dissertation or independent study project, alongside advanced modules like contemporary political theories or global security. There is an option for a placement year between years two and three, providing practical experience. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, research skills, and analytical writing, preparing students for careers in government, NGOs, or further study.
