COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is structured over three years. Year 1 introduces foundational concepts including Why Politics Matters, Introduction to International Relations, and British Politics. Year 2 builds on this with modules like Contemporary International Relations Theory, The Politics of the European Union, and optional choices in areas such as environmental politics or human rights. Year 3 features advanced study through a dissertation, alongside modules like Debates in US Politics, Peace and War, and Global Political Economy. Students can select electives and may incorporate a placement year or study abroad for hands-on experience. The program emphasizes research skills, essay writing, and seminar discussions.
