COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum is structured over three years. Year 1 introduces core concepts in international relations, including theories of IR, global history, and introductory modules on politics and economics. Year 2 builds on this with advanced topics like security studies, international law, and regional studies (e.g., EU, Middle East). Students engage in research methods and optional modules such as peace studies or globalization. Year 3 focuses on specialized areas, including a dissertation project, modules on terrorism, foreign policy analysis, and global challenges like climate change. Assessment includes essays, exams, presentations, and group projects. Optional placement year or study abroad opportunities enhance practical experience.
