COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Sustainable Finance with Fintech program offers a structured mix of core and optional modules designed to build strong expertise in sustainable financial practices and financial technology. In September, students take mandatory courses in Corporate Governance and Sustainability, FinTech Innovations and Applications and Sustainable Finance, which provide a solid foundation in responsible financial management, emerging digital technologies and sustainable investment frameworks. Optional September modules such as Portfolio Management, Capital Markets and Corporate Finance allow students to strengthen their technical understanding of financial decision-making, asset allocation and market behaviour. In January, students complete core modules in Research Philosophy and Practice, Climate Risk Management and Emerging Financial Markets, developing essential research skills and gaining insight into global financial systems and climate-related financial risks. They may further tailor their learning with optional modules including Derivatives, Advanced Valuation of Financial Markets or Empirical Financial Modelling, deepening their analytical and quantitative capabilities. The program concludes in May with an Accounting, Banking or Finance Dissertation, in which students undertake independent research on a topic aligned with their career interests. This structure equips graduates with the advanced knowledge and practical skills needed for careers in sustainable finance, fintech and related sectors.
