COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Real Estate program offers a comprehensive and career-focused education in the analysis, management, and investment of real estate markets. In September, students begin with mandatory modules in Advanced Construction Technology, Urban Economy and Property Markets, and Real Estate Appraisal and Finance, providing a foundation in construction methods, market dynamics, and valuation techniques. An optional module in Business Analytics and Introduction to Big Data allows students to develop analytical and data-driven skills relevant to modern real estate practice. In January, core modules include Real Estate Development, Real Estate Management and Sustainability, Real Estate Investment Analysis, and Advanced Real Estate Valuation, which build expertise in property development processes, sustainable management practices, investment strategies, and complex valuation methods. These modules equip students with the knowledge and practical skills to critically assess real estate projects and investment opportunities within local and global contexts. The program culminates in May with a Research Dissertation in Urban Studies, enabling students to conduct an independent research project that applies theoretical knowledge and analytical methods to real-world urban and property challenges. By integrating academic theory with practical application, the MSc Real Estate develops graduates’ critical thinking, analytical, and professional skills, preparing them for successful careers in commercial real estate, property investment, development, and advisory roles across the global real estate industry.
