COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured to provide a solid foundation in international business management through a combination of core and optional modules. In September, students begin with mandatory modules in Competitive Strategy, International Business Context, and HR Strategy and Practice, which together develop an understanding of strategic decision-making, global business environments, and effective people management. Optional modules such as Finance and Financial Reporting or Measuring and Managing Performance allow students to tailor their learning toward financial skills or organisational performance analysis. In January, the course continues with core modules in Research Philosophy and Practice, Business Economics, and International Marketing, equipping students with analytical, economic, and marketing knowledge essential for operating in international markets. Students may further customise their studies by selecting optional modules such as Managing Diversity in Business, which explores inclusive workplace practices, or Project Management, which develops skills for planning and delivering organisational initiatives. The final stage of the program takes place in May, where students complete a dissertation on an international business topic of their choice. This research project allows them to apply theoretical knowledge to real organisational issues. Together, these modules prepare students for strategic, managerial, and professional roles in global business settings.
