COURSE CURRICULUM

The program provides a structured pathway for developing advanced expertise in international accounting and finance through a series of mandatory and optional modules. In September, students begin with core modules in Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, and International Accounting Standards, which build a strong foundation in financial decision-making, performance evaluation, and global accounting frameworks. Optional September modules such as Corporate Governance and Sustainability, Capital Markets, and Taxation allow students to explore specialised areas connected to financial regulation, market operations, and fiscal systems. In January, the curriculum continues with mandatory modules in Research Philosophy and Practice, International Managerial Accounting, and International Accounting Theory, equipping students with analytical, theoretical, and research skills essential for advanced financial study. Students can further personalise their learning by selecting from January options including Auditing, Assurance and Professional Ethics, Emerging Financial Markets, Comparative Financial Reporting, and Empirical Financial Modelling, each offering deeper insight into professional practice and contemporary financial challenges. The program concludes in May with the Accounting, Banking or Finance Dissertation, where students undertake independent research on a topic of their choice, applying their accumulated knowledge to a real-world or academic issue. Together, these modules create a comprehensive and globally relevant learning experience that prepares graduates for a wide range of professional financial roles.
