COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Finance and Management program is structured to provide a comprehensive and progressive learning experience throughout the academic year. In the September term, students complete mandatory modules such as Competitive Strategy, Corporate Governance and Sustainability, and Financial Analysis, which build a strong foundation in strategic thinking, ethical management, and financial evaluation. Optional modules in September, including Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, and Management Consultancy, allow students to tailor their learning to specific areas of interest within finance and business management. The January term continues with mandatory modules such as Research Philosophy and Practice, Project Management, and Emerging Financial Markets, equipping students with essential research skills, practical project management capabilities, and insights into evolving global financial markets. Optional January modules, including Empirical Financial Modelling, Advanced Valuation of Financial Markets, Sustainable Marketing, and Network Analysis for Business, provide opportunities to develop advanced technical, analytical, and interdisciplinary skills. The program culminates in the mandatory May module, Accounting, Banking, or Finance Dissertation, where students undertake an independent research project, applying their knowledge to a focused investigation in their chosen field. This structure ensures that graduates gain a combination of theoretical understanding, practical expertise, and analytical skills, preparing them for successful careers in finance, banking, consultancy, or corporate management, and equipping them for global professional practice and further research opportunities.
