COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business Psychology with Human Resource Management includes a structured combination of mandatory and optional courses that develop advanced knowledge in workplace behaviour and HR practice. In the September semester, students study core subjects such as HR Strategy and Practice and Social and Organisational Change, which explore how organisational structures and policies shape employee experience and business performance. They can also choose from optional topics including The Legal Context of Work, Organisational Behaviour, Coaching Psychology, Digital Human Resource Management and Organisational Culture, allowing them to tailor learning to personal interests or career goals. The January semester strengthens applied research and professional skills through mandatory courses including Research Methods, Selection and Assessment: Tools and Techniques in Business Psychology, Sustainable HRM and Psychology of Leadership, all of which address the practical application of psychological principles to real organisational challenges such as talent management, ethical leadership and employee wellbeing. In the final semester, students complete an Independent Project in Psychology, conducting specialist research under academic supervision. This project enables students to apply theoretical knowledge to workplace issues or psychological inquiry, enhancing analytical, professional and evidence-based decision-making abilities essential for roles in HR, consultancy and organisational development.
