COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Business Analytics and Consultancy program offers a structured pathway that builds advanced analytical, strategic and consulting capabilities through a carefully balanced combination of mandatory and optional courses. In January, students take core modules in Big Data Analytics, Research Philosophy and Practice, and Network Analysis for Business, gaining essential skills in handling complex datasets, understanding research methodologies and analysing organisational networks to support informed decision making. They can also choose optional modules such as Quality Management, Project Management or Systems Thinking and Analysis to tailor their learning toward operational improvement, project leadership or systems-based problem solving. In the September semester, students focus on key business foundations, including Financial Analysis, Business Analytics and Introduction to Big Data, Management Consultancy and Strategic Change, enabling them to apply analytical insights to real organisational challenges and support transformation initiatives. The program concludes with a major Business Analysis and Consultancy Dissertation, undertaken in the second January period, allowing students to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical research or consultancy-based project work. By the end of the degree, graduates will have developed strong analytical, consulting and strategic skills required to support data-driven decision making across a wide range of industries.
