COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Agribusiness programme comprises 180 credits and provides a comprehensive understanding of the economic, managerial, and strategic aspects of the global agri-food industry. Students begin by studying International Business Economics to understand global markets, trade, and economic principles influencing agribusiness. Strategic Management for International Agri Business develops the ability to formulate and implement business strategies in a competitive international environment, while Financial Management equips students with skills in budgeting, investment analysis, and financial decision-making. Agri Business Supply Chain focuses on managing the movement of agricultural products efficiently from production to consumers. Advanced Research Methods (Social Science) provides the knowledge and techniques required to design, conduct, and analyse research for business and policy applications. Strategic Business Analytics develops the ability to use data-driven insights to support organisational planning and decision-making. Leadership and People Management enhances skills in team leadership, organisational behaviour, and human resource management, while Marketing for Agri Business examines consumer behaviour, branding, market development, and international marketing strategies within the agri-food sector. The programme concludes with a Masters Research Project, enabling students to undertake independent research on a relevant agribusiness challenge, apply advanced analytical and research skills, and produce practical solutions that address contemporary issues in the global agricultural and food industries.
