COURSE CURRICULUM

The program covers a wide range of topics designed to deepen knowledge in ethics, leadership, human rights, economics, and migration within the context of global challenges. In the Ethics, Sustainability, and Governance module, students critically examine corporate social responsibility, ethical leadership, and governance structures aimed at promoting organizational accountability. The Postgraduate Research Methods module focuses on developing research skills through exposure to leading business methodologies, preparing students for future dissertation and consultancy projects. The Developing Leadership for the Common Good module equips students with leadership theories and skills, emphasizing the Common Good principles to foster ethical and effective leadership. Realising Rights in Practice delves into human rights theory and law, exploring the persistent inequalities in areas like housing, education, and freedom of expression, while encouraging a rights-based approach to policymaking. The Feminist Economics module provides an understanding of the role of women in the economy, both paid and unpaid, within a global context, and promotes the analysis of gender inequality through economic tools. Migration, Governance, and Globalisation explores the multifaceted aspects of international migration, including gender, economic, and climate-related factors, through a global lens. Finally, the Economics of Inequality module offers students the chance to analyze economic inequalities, considering various perspectives, from welfare states and public policy to poverty, gender issues, and alternative economic systems. Each module is designed to foster critical thinking and practical application of these issues, equipping students with the tools needed to address contemporary challenges in society.
