COURSE CURRICULUM

The four-year accounting program provides a structured and comprehensive foundation in key areas of accounting, finance, and business. In the first year, students are introduced to the basics of financial and management accounting, quantitative analysis, economics, and business law. These core modules lay the groundwork for understanding how organizations operate and how financial information is used in decision-making. The second year builds on these foundations by advancing students' knowledge in financial and management accounting while introducing corporate finance, financial technology, public sector accounting, and the importance of ethics and leadership in the profession. In the third year, students delve deeper into complex areas such as auditing, taxation, data analytics, and corporate finance strategies, equipping them with the practical and analytical skills needed in a professional accounting role. The final year focuses on independent research through an Honours Research Project and offers a range of optional modules. These options allow students to specialize in areas such as strategic financial analysis, international finance, current taxation issues, investment theory, or contemporary auditing practices, depending on their interests and career goals.
