COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Artificial Intelligence and Data Science program offers a comprehensive set of modules designed to develop strong practical and analytical skills in AI and data-driven technologies. The Artificial Intelligence module introduces core AI concepts and techniques, focusing on their application to real-world problems. Business Intelligence and Reporting for Enterprises develops the ability to analyse organisational data and transform it into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. Computational Intelligence explores advanced intelligent systems, including adaptive and learning-based approaches inspired by natural and biological processes. Data Analytics provides essential skills in analysing large and complex datasets, using statistical and computational methods to uncover patterns and trends. Data Management and Processing focuses on the effective handling, storage and processing of data, ensuring students understand how to work with data efficiently and at scale. Scripting for Natural Language Processing introduces programming techniques used to analyse and process human language, supporting applications such as text mining and language-based AI systems. The program culminates in the Masters Dissertation, where students undertake an independent research or applied project, allowing them to integrate knowledge from all modules to solve a substantial real-world or research-focused problem.
