COURSE CURRICULUM

The program combines academic skills development with core business and management knowledge to prepare students for advanced university study in the UK. The English and Skills for Advanced Study module focuses on developing formal academic language and essential skills such as essay and report writing, presentations, lecture comprehension, academic reading, research methods, critical analysis, and teamwork, all within the context of higher education. The Creativity, Innovation and Enterprise module explores how organisations encourage innovation, the characteristics of creative workplaces, barriers to creativity, and the process of new product or service development. Research and Data Analysis introduces students to research principles and the importance of data in business decision-making, helping them develop skills in interpreting datasets, forming arguments, and producing evidence-based reports. The World Economy module examines global economic issues such as globalisation, economic growth, financial crises, trade challenges, multinational corporations, and environmental concerns, using different theoretical perspectives. Introduction to Human Resource Management covers key HR functions including recruitment, selection, employee relations, training, and development, while considering stakeholder perspectives. Marketing and Market Research in Practice introduces marketing principles, consumer behaviour, and the marketing mix, alongside practical training in qualitative and quantitative research methods.
