COURSE CURRICULUM

The course consists of core modules including Anthropological Research Methods in Action, Society, Health and Wellbeing, and a dissertation. Optional modules may include Global Health and Infectious Diseases, Anthropology of Global Health, Evolutionary Medical Anthropology, Public Health Anthropology, Thinking Anthropologically, Fieldwork and Interpretation, and Understanding Society and Culture. Students undertake a 12,000-15,000 word dissertation on a relevant topic, supported by individual supervision. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, ethnographic methods, and interdisciplinary approaches to health issues.
