COURSE CURRICULUM

The curriculum includes a core module in Research Methods and Resources, which equips students with essential skills for advanced music study. Students then choose from a variety of optional modules such as Issues in Musicology, Composition, Performance, Ethnomusicology, and Music and Science. The program culminates in a dissertation or a portfolio project, allowing for in-depth exploration of a chosen topic. Full-time students complete 180 credits over one year, with options for part-time study over two years. The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical and practical elements, with opportunities for individual supervision and group seminars.
