COURSE CURRICULUM

Finally, *Block 4: Operating Systems and Networks* provides foundational knowledge in computer architecture, operating systems, and computer networks, blending theoretical lectures with hands-on laboratory sessions for practical application and experimentation. Each block involves a combination of workshops, seminars, practical work, and self-directed study to reinforce learning and provide real-world applications.In Year 2, students begin with *Block 1: Object-Oriented Design and Development*, which focuses on object-oriented library and application development, teaching students how to design, implement, and test medium-scale software systems using Java, along with navigating domains like Collections, Input/Output, and Graphical User Interfaces, through workshops and practical programming. *Block 2: Data Structures and Algorithms* covers essential data structures (such as stacks, queues, lists, trees, and hash tables) and algorithms for sequential and parallel execution, exploring performance characteristics and coding issues like modularity and object mutability, with hands-on workshops and labs. *Block 3: Web Application Development* provides a comprehensive understanding of web technologies, emphasizing both front-end user interface design and back-end scripting, while addressing security, accessibility, and design principles, taught through workshops, labs, and self-directed study.
