COURSE CURRICULUM

The course in robotics provides a comprehensive foundation in advanced robotic systems and technologies, integrating theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical skills. It begins with an introduction to robotics, exploring the history, classification, and practical applications of various robot types. Students engage in both offline and real-time programming, gaining practical experience with industrial robots. The robotics control module builds core competencies in designing robot control systems, teaching control theories, kinematics, feedback systems, and motion planning. The artificial intelligence and machine learning module equips students to apply machine learning techniques like decision trees, clustering, Bayesian methods, reinforcement learning, and bio-inspired algorithms to solve real-world industrial problems, especially in robotics. Programming methods focus on object-oriented programming in C++, emphasizing robust, maintainable code development. Another key module, psychology, ethics, and standards, investigates human-robot interaction, human cognition, safety, social behavior, and legal and ethical standards, ensuring systems are designed with a user-centered approach.
