COURSE CURRICULUM

This course includes a comprehensive set of compulsory modules designed to develop advanced knowledge and skills across operations, digital technologies, data management, and enterprise systems. The Operations Management module introduces essential concepts in manufacturing, flow in operations, capacity planning, quality management, lean production, and information systems, helping students understand how operational decisions impact organisational success. Digital Engineering focuses on key principles and current practices in digital tools, IoT, VR/AR, AI, and digital twins, giving students practical exposure to industry-standard digital applications. Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence expands on data science theories and machine learning applications, enabling students to handle complex data scenarios, apply ethical AI solutions, and create value propositions through intelligent data systems. The Data Analytics module further enhances skills in modelling, analysis, and data-driven decision-making using business IT systems. Enterprise Modelling teaches simulation techniques like discrete-event and agent-based modelling, equipping students to analyse and solve complex organisational challenges. In the Enterprise Systems module, students explore ERP tools and strategies, with hands-on experience using SAP, and an introduction to IoT and cybersecurity. The Supply Chain Management module offers insights into strategic planning, supplier evaluation, and digital supply chain optimisation, including AI's role in Supply Chain 4.0. Each module collectively prepares students to assess, design, and implement integrated solutions for business performance and digital transformation in modern enterprises.
