COURSE CURRICULUM

The course is designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the hospitality and tourism industries. It covers key areas such as customer experience, operations management, corporate strategy, and strategic financial decision-making.The module on Customer Experience for Hospitality and Tourism focuses on creating meaningful experiences that build brand loyalty. It explores consumer behavior, brand values, sustainability, and the experience economy, teaching students how to design ethical and competitive services.In the Operations Management module, students learn how to manage resources efficiently in the hospitality and tourism sectors. The content includes operations strategy, performance goals, supply chain management, and risk management, with an emphasis on sustainable solutions.The Corporate Strategy module helps students develop strategic thinking and decision-making skills. It covers topics such as strategic analysis, competitive advantage, and corporate-level strategy. Through case studies and real-world scenarios, students learn to craft and implement strategies that drive business success.The Strategic Financial Decision-Making module teaches students how to make financial decisions that foster sustainable business growth. Topics include advanced financial analysis, investment appraisal, and sustainable finance practices, helping students optimize financial performance and manage risks.To complete the master’s program, students choose one of two 60-credit options. The Dissertation allows students to conduct in-depth research on a chosen topic with academic supervision. It involves applying research methods, analyzing data, and providing insights and recommendations. Alternatively, students can choose the Internship Project, where they apply their knowledge in a real-world setting. The nine-week internship, guided by industry mentors, helps students develop practical skills, solve problems, and build a professional network. The final project is based on this internship experience.
