COURSE CURRICULUM

This undergraduate business course follows a structured progression over three years, starting with a shared first year that offers foundational knowledge across various business disciplines. This common year includes modules such as Entrepreneurial Thinking and Ideation, Foundations of Management, Marketing and Digital Media, Data-Driven Decision-Making, and Organisational Behaviour, helping students build core competencies in management, creativity, marketing, data analysis, and workplace dynamics. It also allows flexibility for students to transfer to a related course if their interests evolve. In the second year, the curriculum focuses on developing technical, academic, professional, and global competencies. Students engage in practical learning through modules like Innovation in Practice, where they collaborate with organisations on real-world challenges, and Designing a Research Proposal to build research skills. Modules such as International Business and People Relations and Global Trade and Emerging Markets expand understanding of global HR practices and international market strategies. Principles of Business Accounting and Problem Solving in a Global Context further develop analytical and strategic thinking. The final year is designed to consolidate learning and prepare students for professional or academic futures. It includes a major 40-credit Final Year Project, allowing for in-depth research in a chosen area. The International Business Strategy module equips students with strategic planning skills in global contexts, while Cross-Cultural and Ethical Leadership fosters an understanding of ethical management and leadership across cultures.
