The course in air transport business and management provides a comprehensive approach to understanding and tackling global challenges in the aviation sector. The Air Transport Business Environment and Policy module (30 credits) offers insights into the theoretical and practical aspects of the global air transport business, focusing on policies, decision-making, and the application of micro and macroeconomic theories, regulatory frameworks, ethical standards, and sustainability concepts. The Air Transport Systems Planning and Design module (30 credits) focuses on the design of sustainable and effective infrastructure within the air transport system. Students will develop skills in creating strategic infrastructure plans, considering technical, environmental, economic, and social factors while incorporating emerging technologies and regulations into decision-making processes.
