COURSE CURRICULUM

This course is designed to equip HR professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary to lead and manage a global workforce. It covers key areas such as leadership, strategy, financial management, talent management, employee relations, and wellbeing. The module on Leadership, Strategy, and Change focuses on how leaders align leadership with strategy, manage complex change processes, and foster creativity and innovation to drive success. Students will engage with interactive activities, case studies, and leadership development exercises. The Strategic Financial Management and Analysis module teaches students how to integrate finance and strategy to achieve sustainable business success. Topics include financial statement analysis, budgeting, and the use of advanced techniques like investment appraisal and the Balanced Scorecard. In the Strategic Resourcing, Talent Management, and Learning module, students will address challenges in talent recruitment and development, workforce planning, and aligning people plans with organizational strategies. This module also covers the use of technology in employee development and various performance management approaches. The Employee Relations, Engagement, and Wellbeing module focuses on managing employee relations and engagement, understanding global HR practices, and designing strategies to enhance wellbeing. Students will explore action plans for organization development and change management. To complete the master’s program, students will choose between two 60-credit options. The Dissertation involves conducting an in-depth research project on a chosen topic, allowing students to apply research methods and provide meaningful insights with academic supervision. Alternatively, the Internship Project offers practical experience through a supervised nine-week internship, where students work on industry projects and develop essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication. This project is supported by industry mentors and is completed in the final semester.
