COURSE CURRICULUM

This master’s program is structured around four core modules and a final 60-credit project. Each 30-credit module is designed to build advanced knowledge and practical skills relevant to leadership, finance, innovation, and risk management in today’s dynamic business environment.The Leadership, Strategy, and Change module focuses on equipping students with the tools to lead effectively through organisational transformation. It covers strategic alignment, team building, innovation, and overcoming resistance to change using interactive methods and real-world case studies.In Strategic Financial Management and Analysis, students explore how to integrate financial insights with strategic business decisions. Topics include financial statement analysis, budgeting, investment appraisal, and incorporating ESG factors. The module emphasizes sustainable and data-driven decision-making using tools like the Balanced Scorecard.Financial Services and Innovation in the Digital Age examines the impact of digital technologies such as AI and FinTech on the financial sector. Students investigate new business models, payment systems, and regulatory developments through industry examples, gaining insights into adapting to a tech-driven marketplace.Capital Market and Risk Management introduces students to the workings of capital markets and the strategies used to manage various financial risks. It includes regulatory considerations and risk mitigation techniques, preparing students for leadership roles in finance and risk management.To complete the degree, students choose between a Dissertation or an Internship Project. The Dissertation involves independent research on a topic of choice, supported by an academic supervisor, aiming to produce valuable insights based on critical analysis. Alternatively, the Internship Project offers a practical experience through a supervised nine-week placement, during which students apply their learning in a real-world setting and develop professional skills. This route requires securing an approved internship and is ideal for those seeking hands-on industry exposure. Both options aim to consolidate the student’s learning and showcase their expertise.
