The Musician’s Craft focuses on refining core musical skills, creativity and critical listening, supporting the development of a confident and distinctive artistic voice. Performance and Technology explores the relationship between live and digital performance, encouraging experimentation with music technologies to enhance creative expression. Presence, Persona and Identity examines how musicians communicate meaning, identity and authenticity through performance and public engagement. The Creative Frontiers Project offers an opportunity for independent, in-depth exploration of innovative ideas, allowing students to push creative boundaries through practice-led research. Professional Practice and Innovation develops industry awareness, entrepreneurial thinking and sustainable career strategies, preparing students for diverse professional contexts. Collaborative Technologies emphasises teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration, using digital tools and shared creative processes to reflect current industry working practices.
