COURSE CURRICULUM

This postgraduate program comprises five compulsory modules designed to develop a comprehensive understanding of international business practices, responsible leadership, and sustainable management. The Global Business Environment and International Business Strategy module enables students to conduct in-depth situation analyses for companies, using research, strategic frameworks, and insights from industry professionals to identify global market opportunities and recommend appropriate market entry strategies. In the People, Relationships and Leadership in Practice module, students explore relationship management, leadership, and entrepreneurship across global contexts, while developing personal competencies and reflecting on responsible management education principles. The International Supply Chain Management and Operations Strategy module focuses on global supply chain and operations strategy, integrating advanced tools and concepts such as strategic sourcing, sustainability, and emerging technologies like IoT, AI, and blockchain to enhance operational efficiency and address international challenges. Finance, Sustainability and Performance Management introduces essential financial tools and performance techniques, with an emphasis on aligning financial decision-making with environmental and social sustainability, and includes the evaluation of financial statements through the lens of the UN’s sustainable development goals. The final module, the Postgraduate Project, gives students the opportunity to synthesize their learning by undertaking a substantial research project, consultancy assignment, or business plan. This capstone project requires students to develop a relevant research proposal, critically evaluate literature and data, and deliver well-founded conclusions and recommendations. Throughout the course, themes of sustainability, ethical leadership, and responsible management are consistently emphasized, in alignment with global standards and the Principles for Responsible Management Education.
