The MTh in Theology program offers a combination of core academic training and a wide range of optional modules to support diverse theological interests and vocational goals. The core module, "Research Methods for Theology" (RTT525), is a 20-credit course that equips students with the essential research skills needed for advanced theological study. It focuses on developing academic tools and methodologies relevant to both historical and contemporary theological inquiry, preparing students for further independent research, including their final dissertation.The program's flexibility is evident in its wide selection of optional 20-credit modules, which allow students to shape their studies according to personal interests and ministerial or academic aspirations. Modules such as "Faith, Belief and Spirituality in the Contemporary World" (RTT145) and "Contours of Christian Theology" (RTT146) offer insight into modern expressions and foundations of faith. "Contemporary Theologies of Mission" (RTT147) and "Principles of Practical Theology" (RTT150) explore theological practice in real-world ministry and mission contexts.
