COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Clinical Optometry offers optometrists the opportunity to advance their clinical, research, and professional skills through a combination of core and optional modules tailored to modern eye care practice. Core modules provide essential training in study and research skills for eye care professionals, comprehensive knowledge of essential eye care, and the completion of a substantial research project, enabling students to develop critical analytical, problem-solving, and evidence-based practice abilities. Optional modules allow students to specialise in areas of particular interest or relevance to their career goals, including low vision theory and practical application, acute eye care, glaucoma management, medical retina, and contact lens practice.
