COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business Management (Logistics and Operations) program begins with a shared first year focused on developing a strong foundation in core business principles. Students are introduced to essential disciplines such as accounting, operations management, economics, marketing, organisational behaviour, and digital technology. This universal approach brings together students from different specialisations, including marketing, human resources, and international management, fostering a collaborative and broad learning environment. In the second year, the program builds on this foundation by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Students explore how key areas like distribution, purchasing, and supply management align with broader organisational behaviour, marketing, and strategic management practices. The core curriculum focuses on subjects such as purchasing and supply management, operational excellence, marketing and strategy, and people management. In addition, students have the option to enhance their expertise through modules related to multiculturalism, finance, or human resource management, allowing for a more tailored educational experience. In the final year, students apply their knowledge to real-world business issues and strategic decision-making scenarios. Core modules in international business, strategic management, and advanced logistics operations prepare students to address current and emerging challenges in the logistics sector. A significant component of the final year is the Logistics and Operations Project, which allows students to conduct in-depth research and demonstrate their practical and analytical skills. Throughout the course, the program emphasises adaptability and forward-thinking, preparing students for careers in various industries where logistics and operations play a critical role.
