COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Business Management (Human Resource Management) program provides a comprehensive foundation in both business and people management, preparing students for effective HR roles across diverse organisational contexts. In the first year, students gain a broad understanding of core business disciplines, including accounting, operations, marketing, technology, and management theory, while learning alongside peers from marketing, international management, and logistics pathways. This interdisciplinary approach helps build a strong foundation in business fundamentals and organisational awareness. In the second year, students begin to focus more specifically on human resource management, exploring how the study of people intersects with finance, marketing, strategy, and organisational performance. Core modules cover challenges in leadership, employment relations, managing people, marketing strategy, and performance and financial management, while optional modules provide opportunities to study multicultural management, project management, purchasing, and supply chain management, enhancing practical HR skills. In the third year, students apply their knowledge to real-world work and employment scenarios, tackling issues in strategy, organisational change, and contemporary workplace challenges.
