COURSE CURRICULUM

The Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng degree provides a comprehensive program that combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience to prepare students for careers in modern engineering. In the first year, students build a solid foundation through lectures and practical laboratory sessions, covering essential topics such as engineering mathematics, fundamentals of electrical and electronic engineering, and applied design and practice. This year equips students with the technical understanding required for more advanced study. In the second year, the curriculum expands to include advanced core modules such as control engineering, fields and waves, microcontroller applications, embedded design, electric power systems, electronic circuit design, signals and systems for communications, and programming for engineering, alongside group design projects that develop teamwork and problem-solving skills. Students apply their learning to real-world engineering scenarios, further enhancing their practical expertise. The third year focuses on independent work and project management, with a major 40-credit individual project allowing students to design and implement a substantial engineering solution under supervision. Additional core modules include automatic control and embedded systems, while optional modules such as power electronics, robotics, communication systems, renewable energy, and magnetic materials enable students to tailor their studies to their interests and career ambitions. This program produces graduates who are well-equipped for technical and professional roles in electrical and electronic engineering.
