COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Professional Practice in Sport Performance Analysis is structured around a longitudinal professional placement, providing students with extensive applied learning opportunities in real-world sports performance environments. The program includes six core modules: Professional Practice (Sport Performance Analysis), Practitioner Engagement, Examining the Professional Environment, Contemporary Research in Performance Analysis, Research Methods in Sport, and the Final Project. These modules are designed to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical expertise, ensuring that students develop a deep understanding of performance analysis concepts, methods, and technologies while applying them directly in professional settings. The placement component is central to the program, allowing students to gain hands-on experience and develop professional competencies in the field of sports performance, whether through their existing workplace or advertised studentships.
