COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc International Business Management is structured around 120 credits of taught modules and a 40-credit final project. Students complete six compulsory modules, each worth 20 credits, which provide a solid foundation in the key areas of global business. These include The Global Economy: International Trade and Finance, which offers insights into global trade dynamics and international financial systems, and International Business in the Digital Society, which explores how digital technologies are reshaping global commerce. Contemporary Political Issues in International Business addresses the influence of political events and trends on international operations, while International Business Strategies examines how organisations develop and implement plans in a global context. Global Corporate Sustainability focuses on ethical, responsible business practices, and Professional Development, Practice and Performance supports the enhancement of personal and career-focused skills.In addition to the core modules, students choose one optional 20-credit module to tailor their learning to specific interests. Options include modules such as In Search of Creativity, Innovation & Difference, Managing Global Challenges, and International Business Across Cultures, among others. These electives allow for deeper exploration of specialised themes in global business management.For the final 40-credit component, students select one major project: the International Research Project, Consultancy Project, or a Business Plan. Each option provides a substantial opportunity to apply knowledge in a practical or research-based context, supported by expert supervision. This comprehensive structure ensures that graduates leave the program with both a theoretical grounding and practical skills needed to thrive in international business.
