COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Financial Management program features a comprehensive modular structure designed to develop advanced financial knowledge and professional expertise. The core curriculum is built around three compulsory modules: Corporate Finance, Contemporary Issues in Accounting, Banking, Economics and Finance, and Research Methods, giving students a solid foundation in financial theory, analytical approaches, and current global financial challenges. To tailor their learning, students select two compulsory optional modules from a range that includes Capital Markets & Derivatives, Finance of International Business, Principles of Islamic Finance, Wealth Management, and Management of Finance, enabling them to specialise in key areas aligned with their interests and career goals. In addition, students choose two further optional modules from an extensive list such as Quantitative Finance, Strategic Business Leader, Project Management Theory & Practice, Islamic Investment Banking, Management of Mega and Complex Projects, International Business Strategies, Development of Professional Skills and Employability, and Econometrics and Data Analysis. This flexible structure supports the development of both technical and practical skills, preparing students for high-level roles across financial institutions, consultancy, government agencies, and corporate environments.
