COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Fashion Marketing Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University is awarded upon successful completion of 180 credits, comprising 120 credits from compulsory taught modules, a 20-credit optional module, and a 40-credit non-taught final project. The program offers a structured academic route with flexible exit points. Students may earn a Postgraduate Certificate by completing 60 credits in one semester or a Postgraduate Diploma by completing 120 credits over two semesters. The compulsory modules equip students with a comprehensive foundation in fashion marketing, including omnichannel marketing, strategic brand marketing, creative communication, fashion consumer behaviour, contemporary marketing practices, and marketing intelligence. These modules develop core competencies essential for understanding and navigating the global fashion industry.Students then choose one optional module to tailor the course to their professional interests. Options include Social Media and Influencer Marketing, Marketing Industry Placement, Managing Digital Disruptions, or In Search of Creativity, Innovation and Difference. These modules allow students to explore emerging trends or gain practical experience through placements. The final stage involves selecting a non-taught module worth 40 credits—either a Fashion Dissertation, a Fashion Marketing Plan, or Launching a Fashion Project. This component allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge and research skills in a practical or academic context, preparing them for advanced roles in fashion marketing.
