The BA (Hons) Digital Marketing Management degree at Cardiff Met offers a comprehensive and future-focused curriculum designed to build expertise across key areas of digital marketing. In the first year, students complete six compulsory modules that introduce fundamental concepts, such as digital media, data-driven marketing, search marketing, and the digital marketing industry, laying the groundwork for a solid understanding of the digital landscape. In the second year, students develop practical and analytical skills through modules in digital analytics, marketing communications, and consumer behaviour. A key feature of the year is the ‘Digital Marketing in Practice’ module, which includes a supported work placement to provide valuable real-world experience. Students also choose one optional module, allowing for a degree of personalisation in their learning, with options like social media marketing or sponsorship marketing. An optional year in industry between the second and third years is available, helping students gain significant professional exposure. In the final year, students study core modules focused on content marketing, automation, AI, and global digital strategies. They also complete either a dissertation or a digital marketing plan, applying research and strategic skills to solve current challenges.
