COURSE CURRICULUM

The Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Design MSc program combines core modules to develop students’ expertise in sustainable development, entrepreneurship, business planning, and design. The Business Planning module equips students with the skills to develop comprehensive business plans, integrating market analysis, competitive assessment, business models, and financial planning. The Entrepreneurship module explores the academic and practical aspects of entrepreneurship, including psychological and behavioural traits, and entrepreneurial processes. International Political Economy provides an understanding of global economic debates, theories, and issues. The Professional Design Studio examines the societal, environmental, economic, and technological impact of design, highlighting applications across consultancies, corporate settings, and global organizations. The Portfolio module, linked to the optional six-month work placement, allows students to document and reflect on professional experiences, demonstrating the practical application of the tools and techniques acquired during the program. Strategic Sustainable Development introduces structured planning and decision-making models for real-world sustainability challenges, while Sustainability, Policy, and Governance covers environmental governance, policy-making, and integrating social equity, economic development, and technological progress. Sustainable Design focuses on critical environmental and socio-economic issues, including Life Cycle Analysis and product environmental assessment in early design stages. The Dissertation enables students to undertake an in-depth research project or business proposal, often in collaboration with external organizations, fostering interdisciplinary knowledge and applied understanding in sustainability, entrepreneurship, and design.
