COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Design (Immersive Mixed Reality) MSc equips students with advanced skills in digital design, focusing on immersive media, 3D animation, and motion graphics. The program develops a comprehensive understanding of fundamental digital design principles through theory and project-based learning, preparing students to meet the demands of contemporary design practice. Students gain knowledge of video production workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production processes, and learn to apply these skills to real-world digital media projects. The immersive mixed reality module provides expertise in augmented and virtual reality design, enabling students to use state-of-the-art technologies and digital media tools to create interactive content. The major project or dissertation allows students to undertake the full life cycle of digital branding projects, including market research, budgeting, media planning, distribution, and evaluation, producing creative outputs such as viral videos or games. Optional modules further enhance professional capabilities, covering areas such as digital branding strategy, brand experience design, motion graphics, and 3D animation. These options allow students to develop practical competence in animated typography, post-production, CGI pipelines, and performance capture, fostering creative and technical expertise.
