COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Design (Creative Artificial Intelligence) MSc equips students with advanced skills in digital design, combining technical knowledge with creative practice. Core modules focus on developing a solid foundation in digital design through theory lectures and guided project work, enabling students to understand the fundamental elements of design and apply them in contemporary business contexts. The program also covers digital media technologies, providing insights into the full video production workflow, including pre-production, production, and post-production, while a dedicated module on generative AI introduces students to AI-driven creative practices and its applications in the design industry. Optional modules allow students to tailor their learning, including digital branding strategy, which explores the professional and societal impact of branding, and brand experience design, which focuses on marketing communications and digital engagement. Additional options include motion graphics, developing practical competence in animation, typography, post-production, and compositing across multiple platforms, and 3D animation, which teaches both the technical and aesthetic aspects of CGI production and performance capture. Immersive mixed reality design equips students with knowledge of augmented and virtual reality principles and tools, enabling them to create interactive content. The program integrates creative, technical, and strategic skills to prepare graduates for a variety of roles in digital design and the creative industries.
