COURSE CURRICULUM

The compulsory modules of the Creative Writing for Marketing MSc provide students with a strong foundation in both creative communication and strategic marketing. Creative Copywriting introduces the professional skills needed to write persuasive content across diverse sectors, focusing on interpreting briefs and executing effective campaigns. The Creative Writing for Marketing module deepens advanced writing abilities while integrating contemporary marketing theories and real-world practice. Core marketing knowledge is further developed through Marketing Communications, which explores communication tools, ethics and theoretical approaches, and Marketing Principles, which examines foundational concepts and the evolution of modern marketing practices. Understanding Business and Management Research equips students with essential research methods and analytical skills for academic and professional projects. Students then complete an independent dissertation applying creative writing techniques and marketing principles to a specialised research topic. Optional modules allow personalisation, offering opportunities to enhance specific skills such as prose, poetry, and scriptwriting, develop social media content writing expertise, understand consumer behaviour, explore strategic digital marketing, or gain insights into contemporary brand management.
